Submissions
At Jaded Bum Music, we appreciate your interest in submitting what you believe are quality songs with the potential to make the final cut for various recording artists. At times, we are either too busy, or too backed up with new material to give your work serious consideration. However, every three months we sift through all of the new material you send us, and either e mail, call, or write you concerning our present situation. We'll tell you honestly whether or not we consider your song appropriate for our catalog, and whether or not we believe we can do anything to assist you. Should we believe in your work, we'll be in contact with you, and present you with a single-song contract that is written in plain English with explanations for your understanding, as well as references to other writers we've worked with for your own sense of our integrity. We ask that you first e mail, or write us should you want to send us your new material. The only exception will be if you visit this page and see, in red letters, that we're not presently accepting new material. That notice should be understood to be ONLY a three month notice, and we hope it will not dissuade you from returning during the next three months in order to see if it's appropriate for you to contact us for future submissions. As this site develops, we'll flesh out more info concerning our policies for submissions. Please feel free to click our contact info below should you have any further questions. Thanks, John Woodle, owner.

December 29, 2006, we are NOT accepting new submissions for the next 90 days, but will begin a new 90 day window for new submissions later in 2007, using our specific submissions policies. Thanks...JW
__________
Broadjam.com A fine, developing site for working and aspiring songwriters and artists, with "real world" honesty and clarity.
Garageband.com "The Second Generation" (a deep, well-crafted site, full of music and tools for both songwriters & artists...JW)
Stretch The Skies Yes, that's actually the name of a young hybrid record label/distributor/consultant/publicist with a different approach to independent music.
(please note: To the best of my knowledge, Harry Fox Agency does not have any licensing relationship with either Garageband.com. or Broadjam.com at this time, and Jaded Bum Music, an HFA affiliate, cannot endorse these sites as a music publisher, but rather has chosen them for your information and creative possibilities only...JW)
